Things have changed quite a bit since my last post. Let's see, Seth has gotten a new job with Astrazeneca staring at the end of May so we turned in his two weeks notice last week at Wells Fargo and he's a free man! He couldnt wait for the day to leave that prison of a job and since we've been doing the Dave Ramsey plan and will be debt free in a couple of months, Seth and I decided that he could take the next month and a half off of work and enjoy moving back to Mobile without the stress of working. YAY!! So this week we have come to Mobile to start our house hunting and we have had a blast! We went out for the first time on Monday and actually found the best deal of a house, square footage for price, in Baldwin County. We werent looking for a too big of a house but for the investment sake, we may have found a steal of a deal that may be great for us in the long run. We're only looking for a house to live in for 3-5 years because Seth really wants to build so a house that could appreciate in a couple of years would be nice. I know the economy is down right now but there's only one other direction that it can go and that's back up right??? We'll see. Well, here's a picture of the house we really like...we'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Still have a lot to look at.
Hey! Congratulations on the new job, Seth! And, congratulations to the both of you on the new house! I just heard of Dave Ramsey last week...I'm going to have to read that book now.
